Preparation:
You can either file the jump ring flat and flush fit it to the pendant, or leave gaps for infilling with gold, which adds strength [00:50].
Positioning:
Use microscopes in the chamber to position the jump ring [01:24].
Adjust it until you are happy with its placement [01:34].
Initial Attachment:
Use the laser at its lowest level, increasing in increments, to shoot and attach the jump ring [01:40].
Securing and Straightening:
Hold the fob with pliers and position the jump ring so that it's straight [02:22].
Shoot the bulk of the jump ring onto the pendant to secure it [02:34]
If it's not straight, the laser is forgiving, allowing you to adjust it [02:53].
Infilling Gaps:
The gaps are then filled with gold to strengthen the bond [03:23].
For safety, focus on the thickest point, which is the jump ring [03:36].
Strengthening the Joint:
The infilling process not only fills the gaps but also strengthens the joint [03:55].

Adjusting Laser Settings:
