Timeline:
Initial Laser Application:
The presenter starts by using a laser on the lowest power and smallest spot size to check its effect on the pin [00:30].
Adding Stainless Steel:
Stainless steel, which was milled and tin snipped, is added to the pin and the hole to introduce more material [00:48].
Working the Material:
The added material is worked around and broken off, using the laser to move it like putty [01:17].
Filling the Hole:
The material is then worked into the hole by turning the watch over and repeating the process [01:34].
Smoothing Process:
The spot size and power of the laser are increased to smooth off the entire area [02:48].
Final Adjustments:
More material is added to fill any holes, and the spot size is slightly increased to work it in [03:08].
